Raw Cacao Banana Smoothie

Breakfast, afternoon sweet fix or dessert, this bomb of a banana smoothie will hit the spot.
Enjoy it as a drink or create a smoothie bowl,
a winner for young and old :)

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of coconut milk. Almond is good too, but the sweetness and fat of the coconut milk is the bomb. Cows milk works a treat too if that's your thang.
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon of walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed powder (or chia seeds)
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg  (adjust to your spice liking)
  • Add to your blender and blend baby blend

Drink up or make your own creation. My current fav is the below smoothie bowl - combine the smoothie recipe, add your favourite granola (or make my delicious version), add coconut flakes and blueberries. Boom!

I believe that food should make you feel good, satisfy your hunger, tickle your tastebuds and nourish the body.
I'm not a food nazi (nor a chef), but I aim to keep my meals packed with nutrients and taste; free of refined sugar, wheat and dairy; and easy to make.

Here I'll be sharing my yummy crowd pleasers - enjoy!
