Yin  Immersion | FREEDOM
2pm Saturday 6 June via Yoganic Livestream

“Mindfulness gives you time.
Time gives you choice.
Choices, skilfully made,
Lead to freedom.”

~ Henepola Gunaratana

There is a yearning within all of us to experience the freedom of being ourselves, to live this life to the full and do so with grace and ease.

It’s possible that the most limiting place in this world, is the prison of our own mind. Our mind worries we have done something wrong or can’t hand the changes ahead; our heart fears being hurt; and body responds with tension and dis-ease. As a consequence we miss out on the only moment in time where can truly live and make choices in this life - the present moment.

Trust. Presence. Freedom.

We can never truly know the outcome to a situation. However, the truth is our capacity to meet each moment is boundless. Our heart can hold and give so much more than we can comprehend. This life, so full of wonder and possibilities for us to savour. Let’s unravel the limitations of the mind, be present for our lives moment to moment, and discover true freedom.

Join me for a nourishing afternoon of yin, mindfulness and pranayama (breath practices). Immerse in a full body release, with extra attention given to the hips, legs and spine. It’s time to just be, to breath, be still and nourish this body and heart of ours. Enabling us to step forward with greater clarity, vitality and freedom.

“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are.”

What is YIN Yoga?

Yin yoga, through it’s passively held floor poses adds gentle pressure to myofascia, ligaments and tendons to lubricate the joints and free adhesions / knots in our tissues that restrict movement. Improving joint health and flexibility, whilst also gently releasing the emotions that are stored in the body.
This mindful and meditative practice invites our attention inwards, slow down and connect - balancing our busy and demanding lives. By doing so, we stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and our body literally begins to heal itself, including:
  • digestion improves
  • inflammation decreases
  • immunity increases
  • Improved sleep
  • decrease stress
  • Feel more rested, revitalised and calm
  • Improved mental and emotional clarity.

Suitable for beginners, complete newbies and yoga devotees. Anyone wanting to offer more surrender and stillness in their lives
